Effect: B&W, Pure, Noisy
Description
This is the same as {B&W, Pure}, except that noise is added to the image to break up the solid black and white shapes. The value of a noisy pixel is randomly switched based on the intensity of the original pixel.
Controls
|
Midpoint: |
|
Determines at what intensity the switch from black to white is made. All intensities lower than this value become black, while those higher become white. |
|
Pixels: |
|
Determines how many pixels are affected by noise. |
Notes
This effect is visibly affected by DV compression artifacts, which are more noticeable in a still image than in a moving one. That makes the image look different using the "Preview" and "Apply" buttons.
