Effect: Scratch, Single, White
Description
Simulates the presence of a single scratch on the film negative. These scratches appear white on the screen.
Controls

Persistence: |
|
The length of time the scratch is visible, before disappearing and reappearing at a differnt location on the frame. |

Speed: |
|
The speed with which the scratches move from side to side across a frame. |
|
Thickness: |
|
The thickness of the scratches. |
|
Locator: |
|
Determines the horizontal placement of the scratch. If the speed is not zero, the actual scratch placement will be offset from the click location. |
|
Effect In/Out: |
|
Animates the Persistence. |
Notes
White scratches represent damage which was done to the negative in the camera, and are not very common. Much more common are black scratches, which represents damage to the film positive being run through the projector.
