Effect: Fast Motion

Description
Speeds up the clip by smoothly interpolating frames. This gives more control and a smoother result than using iMovie's built-in clip speed control. See the important note below.

Determines degree to which the clip is sped up.

Notes
IMPORTANT: Since an effect plugin cannot change the duration of a clip, as the clip is sped up the extra portion is left black. For example, if a clip is sped up by a factor of 2x, then the second half of the clip will be black, since the clip is now half as long as it was originally. These black portions can be trimmed off using iMovie's "Split Video Clip at Playhead" command in the Edit menu.
